08/08/19 - We are proud to announce two new additions to SBMC, Dr Emma Jones who joined us in March and Mo Abdelkafi, our Pharmacist practitioner. 


14/01/19 - The practice warmly welcomes Dr Laura Edgell to the team.

 

01/09/18 - We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Natasha Collins as our new Lead Clinical Partner. The practice looks forward to developing our services and improving further with her help and guidance.

 

01/11/17 - Over the past few months St Brides has been busy recruiting some fantastic new clinical and administrative staff to bolster our team. We welcome Dr Natasha Collins, Dr Sian Jones and Dr Sam Davies, Nurse Practitioner Sian Chapman, Practice Nurse Amanda Hegarty and two new reception staff to St Brides.

 

06/02/17 - We were honoured to be visited by the Health Minister for Wales, Vaughn Gething, today. The minister came to see our innovative direct access Prescribing Physio service, the first of its kind in General Practice in South Wales. He was also shown the successful work of our dedicated social prescribing clinic in partnership with Communities First, our strong partnership with Aneurin Bevan Health Board and a number of other key innovations which are helping to make General Practice more sustainable and efficient for the future whilst providing better care closer to our patients' homes.

 

 

01/04/16 - St Brides Medical Centre has agreed to run a branch surgery in Marshfield formerly operated by Central Surgery (which has now closed). We will be operating a nurse-led clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays for the next 6 months from 2 Bakers Court, Marshfield.

01/06/15  - The practice has recently appointed two new advanced Nurse Practitioners in order to serve the growing demand in our community. We aim to provide even faster access to a clinician with our prescribing Nurse Practitioners able to deal with a range of minor illness queries

  


03/06/15 - We currently run a fortnightly Saturday morning clinic with pre-bookable appointments only. We are the only practice currently offering this service in the Aneurin Bevan Health Board area. We appreciate your support with this new service.
